Ernie Ball 2241 RPS Hybrid Slinky 9-46
Ernie Ball RPS Hybrid Slinky 2241
Notes- E, A and D of a ‘Regular’ gauge set. G, B and E of a ‘Super’ gauge set. Nice and bendy on the thin strings yet chunky-sounding on the thick strings.
Ernie Ball revolutionised electric guitar strings in the late 1960’s by creating lighter gauges that better suited the rock guitarist, ‘Slinky’ strings were born.
Ernie Ball Reinforced Plain Steel (RPS) Nickel Wound strings have tougher plain strings due to a winding of bronze wire tightly wrapped around the lock twist of the ball end. The advantage of this is plain strings that last longer and stay in tune better than conventional ones.
