We are very excited to be offering this stunning Fender Custom Shop 64 Fiesta Red Journeyman stratocaster. It features a very comfortable 9.50 inch radius and custom shop Hand wound fat 64 pickups that sound amazing! The fretboard features a AAA grade piece of rosewood that is really dark and has a stunning grain. Overall, this is a really stunning strat that has all of those classic features like an original in the 60's, and the aged journeyman finish gives is a well played feel and aesthetic. The Journeyman relic is more subtle than a heavy relic, giving the player a chance to put their own wear on it, and make it their own!

FENDER AGED VINTAGE STYLE MACHINE HEADS

The Fender Vintage-Style Machine Heads are a perfect fit for this Stratocaster. Offering vintage styling and excellent tuning stability, these are a great set of Machine Heads. They have also been aged by the custom shop to give them a worn in aesthetic.

FENDER CUSTOM SHOP HAND WOUND FAT 64 PICKUPS

The Fender Fat '64 Strat pickups are designed to replicate the sound of the original Stratocaster pickups from the mid-1960s, but with a modern twist. These pickups are handcrafted using period-correct materials and techniques, including staggered Alnico 5 magnets, enamel-coated magnet wire, and cloth-covered output wires.

The Fat '64 Strat pickups are known for their increased output and full, round sound, which makes them ideal for players who want a thicker, more powerful tone. They deliver a balanced sound across all three positions, with a slightly overwound bridge pickup that adds extra bite and sustain.

JOURNEYMAN AGED NITROCELLUOSE FINISH

The Journeyman finish is designed to replicate the look and feel of a well-worn and played-in guitar, with subtle wear and tear that gives the instrument character and personality. The Journeyman Finish is created using a combination of techniques, such as relicing, aging, and distressing, to produce a vintage-looking guitar that feels comfortable and familiar right out of the box. The journeyman ageing looks fantastic on this classic Fiesta Red finish. This finish does not feature laquer checking with only minor dings around the body, giving the player a chnace to add their own wear and make it their own!

ALDER BODY

When used as the body material on a Stratocaster, alder can deliver a bright, clear tone with good sustain and projection. It provides a strong foundation for the guitar's pickups and enhances the natural resonance of the instrument.

6-SCREW VINTAGE STYLE TREMELO BRIDGE

The vintage-style tremolo is essentially unchanged from the original Stratocaster bridge. It's very well made and allows you to add smooth vibrato into your playing.
