The SD330 was designed by Todd Sucherman of Styx. These sticks are similar to a 5B, but with a modified acorn-shaped tip. This stick is great if you like a large diameter, but light weight.

Maple is a very light wood which allows for a large diameter stick without the weight. Small sticks are ultra light for precision and subtlety.
