Description: This form of Cocobolo has a darker brown colouring when compared to the common Cocobolo and the grain is more regular and tightly packed, producing a more obviously striped pattern. This timber lends itself particularly to cabinet-making, turning and veneering and with the tone wood qualities of the more common Cocobolo it is likely to turn up in exceptionally beautiful musical instruments.
