Grows: West Africa

Description: The colour of this timber can be quite wide ranging and covers from Golden to Dark Brown. The timber itself is considered to be very durable and has often been used as a substitute for Teak. It is widely used for parquet flooring, stairs, marine piling and wall paneling.
