Notes- E, A and D of a ‘Regular’ gauge set. G, B and E of a ‘Super’ gauge set. Nice and bendy on the thin strings yet chunky-sounding on the thick strings.
Ernie Ball revolutionised electric guitar strings in the late 1960’s by creating lighter gauges that better suited the rock guitarist, ‘Slinky’ strings were born.
