Jim Dunlop Heil Talk Box HT1
The Talk Box is often misunderstood as it is not an effects pedal. Your guitar sound is manipulated with your mouth via a tube. The Talk Box needs to be plugged in between the amp and the speakers. When switched on it will mute the main speaker and channel the sound up the tube at 6 watts. The tube should be in your mouth allowing you to shape the sound, this sound is picked up by a microphone.
When setting talk boxes up with combos some extra adapters may be needed.
Great care must be taken when plugging these pedals in as the amp can be damaged by incorrect connections.
