Diamond Del Fuego Head and Open Back 1x12 - Red Snake Skin

The new Diamond Del Fuego, in stunning Red Snake skin, with breathtaking vintage tone. 22w Class A, Hand Built and Hand Wired.

We are delighted to receive one of the first Del Fuegos to arrive in the UK. The amp we have has come straight from a review with Guitar Player (June ‘11). It is serial number DFA/0008.

Diamond Say:

"Covered in either black or burgundy snakeskin, the Del Fuego head is a quality, hand-built amplifier in the time-honored tradition of a famous and sought-after early 1960's British model. It delivers revered vintage-type distortion without the "domestic havoc" and it's lightweight enough to save your back while still having the power to be gigable even in combination with 2 4x12's. Each Del Fuego is hand wired on a hand-built fiberglass eyelet board using components selected for reliability and superior sonic character along with Mercury Magnetics transformers. Two channels, one with foot-switchable tremolo (included). The Del Fuego uses three 12AX7, two EL84 power tubes, and one 6CA4 rectifier.

This amp is hand wired, Class A at it's finest. It is so hand made, that Diamond even literally fabricates the eyelet boards it is built on. As is characteristic of Diamond, only the finest of components are used, even including Mercury Magnetics transformers. True tube, true Class A, true clean/blues/vintage breakup, true Texas.

The Del Fuego is available as either the head, 1x12 or 2x12 combo matching the aesthetics of the amp, or can be paired with your cabinet of choice including Diamond's new 1x12 open back cabinet. Both configurations are open-back design and hand-built out of Baltic birch."
