 | | | | | | There are simply dozens of guitar packs these days, but few come close to the quality of the Orange. Aside from quality you also receive more included accessories than any other package on the market. The price is another major factor here too, it’s cheaper on average without cutting corners. Available in Orange (of course) and Black. Based on the classic design of the stratocaster, these guitars are comfy and lightweight. We’re amazed a quality instrument can be made for this amount of money. The overall finish on the guitar is superb, and expected on a £200 instrument, such as a Squier Standard strat. Often with quickly manufactured guitars, lack of quality can be random, and can lead to a batch of instruments with finish flaws or stiff machine heads. The hardware on these guitars is excellent. The tuners work smoothly, keeping the instrument in tune. The bridge with the trem arm fitted also works smoothly with no hang ups. The included Slim version of the Orange Crush 10 is a perfect match and offers a warm tone, which isn't compromised even with increased gain. Achieving a great sound is easy, unlike most practice amps we’ve tested, and like the guitar, it’s solidly built. There’s even a socket for headphones to keep any person in the nearby vicinity happy. The amp alone would cost £49 if bought separately. The Orange pack from our experience seems very consistent, great value and reliability. Unlike other strat packs, one great advantage is the addition of having a humbucker in the bridge position. Along with the two single coils, you have great tonal versatility. Coupled with the slim line 10 watt amp that comes with it, you can achieve anything from blues, to good heavy metal crunch. The guitar can be setup very well, with a good low action, very important for anyone who’s just beginning. Looks, playability and value for money all play a role in the initial purchase, but this package has longevity too, and will easily see a beginner a long way through the learning curve. |

| Value for money, nothing can beat it. The accessories are included and are functional but nothing special. Guitar and amp are the true winners here. We’re all huge fans of Orange gear here at Sound Unlimited and they’ve released a quality package to add to a supreme range. |
