Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion

Great for providing distortion sounds for modern metal, the MD-2 contains oodles of distortion with its dual stage distortion circuit. Its real secret weapon, however, is the “Bottom” control located on the inner shaft of the dual concentric tone control, which provides a great thick sound at the bottom end and makes it easy to get that low end “cabinet thunk” or EQ scooped sound popularised by many of today’s metal bands. Sounds awesome with detuned or 7 string guitars particularly.

As with all Boss Compacts, you can register online to increase your warranty to five years. They all feature very robust die cast metal construction to withstand years of use and can be powered either by a single 9V battery or a PSA-240 power supply.
