electro-harmonix Octave Multiplexer generates deep, phat bass tones one octave below the notes you play. 

There are four controls on the EHX Octave Multiplexer to aid you in sculpting the octave sound you’re after. ‘Bass Filter’ emphasizes the lowest fundamental note. Turned counter-clockwise this control will give you the deepest bass sound. ‘High Filter’ emphasizes the highest fundamental note. The ‘Range’ switch should normally be down when the pedal is used with guitar, to produce a deep bass sound, however some guitar sounds will respond better to the switch being up. The ‘Blend’ knob controls the amount of sub-octave sound with your original guitar sound. Also sounds great with bass.
