ECO Friendly where possible

OUR ECO friendly efforts...

We dispatch a large quantity of D’addario product and felt that we needed to extend the companies efforts to our customers.

As of June 2008 we will use the following packaging wherever possible:

100% recycled packets for strings and small items.
60% recycled bubble wrap
60% recycled padded green jiffy

We will also implement the non-use of polythene as soon as possible.

D’addario have focused, for a number of years, on reducing the impact that their products have on our environment whilst keeping quality at it’s best.

The string range is packaged in a biodegradable vacuum sealed inner packet. This gives the end user confidence that the strings will be unaffected by corrosion. D’addario pioneered the environmental string package in 1992.

Recently Planet Wave leads (part of the D’addario brand) have been targeted in an ECO friendly move. Previously the packaging was a large box (Which we have to say looked great.) However, the recent update has only a simple card label which greatly reduces weight, volume and waste.

D’addario offer bulk packs which are better for our environment as they contain far less packing than individual packets. In order to convince you there are some great savings!

It sounds obvious, but it is far more economical to ship bulk packs. (We like it too!)
